Real Ale Pubs in Baslow (East Midlands)  
 

Baslow is some 3 miles from Bakewell on the A619 Chesterfield road. It has close links with the Chatsworth Estate (to the south of the village) and the Duke of Devonshire. The Church (St Anne's) is situated alongside the river Derwent. Baslow, Its clock has the words ' Victoria 1897' on its dial instead of figures. Baslow like many other Derbyshire villages has an annual carnival and well dressing. Its ancient stone bridge has three arches.

Chatsworth House, Chatsworth Derbyshire, DE45 1PP tel. 01246 582204 is the home of The Duke and Dutchess of Devonshire. The House displays treasures collected by 11 generations of the family and the garden has a spectacular waterworks. There is a farmyard and Adventure Playground.
